Machinefabriek: “Though not always apparent in my music, I’m a sucker for drums. So when I was asked to do this remix, I started fooling around with these brushed snares and all. With some layering, I had made this weird free-form non-rhythm that seemed to work perfectly with the bassline. It’s almost jazz! Then some snippets of the vocals were used to make some spaceous, mantra-like singing, adding a psychedelic feel to the whole thing. All in all I’d say this isn’t really a typical ­Machinefabriek track, but if it works, it works.”
